Shortly after Kenyans expressed their dissatisfaction in the first list of VIPs entitled to vehicle clearance on Public roads and Highways which was released by the Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai on Wednesday, May 29, the list got updated on 30th.
The National Police Service added the Chief Justice, attorney general and the Senate Majority leader to list of VIPs who will be receiving special treatment on roads and highways.
Also added on the list were cabinet secretary for finance and principal secretaries, finance and foreign affairs.

In the initial list the president, deputy president, First Lady, cabinet secretaries for defence, Interior and foreign affairs, and principal secretary for Interior were put in the first category of VIPs on roads.
The second category comprised of the chief of defence forces, service commanders of defence forces, IG, deputy Inspector General of National Police Service and Deputy Inspector General of Administration Police Service.
The Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi, his Senate counterpart Ken Lusaka and Majority Leader of the National Assembly Aden Duale formed the third category.
Retired presidents and retired prime minister were placed in fourth category while ambulances and fire brigade were put in fifth category.
In Kenyans response to the list, someone asked of Prophet David Owour known for enjoying heavy security detail privilege in attendance of his mega rallies
“What about prophet awour,”- asked Patrick Munya.
The response was definitely not what he expected “We wacha kutusumbua!!! Hyo uta jibiwa na pastor wako!!!”- Victor Wainaina Chege replied.
Another also noted that the 2nd lady Rachel Ruto was left to seat in traffic like commoners.
“Oh I see the list had been updated to include the Chief Justice after we pointed it out yesterday. Good. However, the IG should never make such a ‘computer error’. Also noticed 1st lady is privileged and the 2nd Lady akae kwa jam kama raia”-Kanye West tweeted.
It has also been questioned where are the retired presidents and prime ministers are rushing to that they need special clearance.
Journalists Linda Ogutu for KTN and Citizen TV’s Mashirima kapombe on the other hand have expressed their relief mocking the GK famous walkie talkies wielders.
Nione mtu akinisimamisha na 'ova ova' kwa mkono tena kama hayuko kwa hii list……
