Over the years Barcelona star Lionel Messi has been the player at all time. Even as he ages, his skills and dominance in the football world grow from strength to strength.
The Argentinian is one of the few years whose glory has never faded since making a debut in their football ball career. Over the past decade, Messi and Christiano Ronaldo have dominated the football world and have been interchanging global awards between themselves.
The season 2018-19 was arguably one of the best for the Argentinian. He has led his club to successfully win their domestic trophy and is looking forward to winning the Copa Del Rey Cup with Barcelona against Valencia, a final match that is slated for May 25.
Unfortunately, Messi failed to help Barca proceed past semi-finals in the Champions League this season after a severe humiliation by Liverpool at Anfield.
Despite that, Messi has successfully won the European Golden Boot for the third consecutive season and his sixth in total.
His main challenger Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen and perhaps this explains why this season has not gone well for the Juventus star.
