Following the news of the death of the immediate National Assembly clerk Justin Bundi, lots of condolences message from both leaders and the public has flowed in. The ex-clerk succumbed to cancer on Saturday evening while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi.
Earlier the Member of Parliament Ken Okoth who is also battling cancer shared that the former clerk Justin Bundi was one of his my mentors since he joined the National Assembly in n 2013.

Member of Parliament Isaac Mwaura has as well mourned Justin stating that he was a very humble, calm and diligent man, who was highly committed to service.

Current speaker Justin Muturi who confirmed the death has expressed great sadness in the demise of the former Clerk of the National Assembly saying Mr Bundi was a personal friend whom he has known since their days in school.

Nairobi woman representative on the other side sent her condolences to his family and all his former associates from the 11th Parliament.

Bundi had also served as the personal assistant to former House Speaker Francis ole Kaparo and a commissioner to the Commission of Revenue Allocation.
Bundi gave an emotional speech in Mombasa during his last parliamentary retreat in February 2017.
“I will miss you badly when I leave Parliament, but will not forget your immense role in my career.”
Bundi was replaced as the August House by Michel Rotich Sialai.
