The ODM party has taken to social media to quash rumors that Kibra MP Ken Okoth is dead.

News broke on Tuesday that the 41 year old, who has been battling colorectal cancer had succumbed to the illness.
The MP has since refuted these claims, asking Kenyans not to kill him before his time.
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna also calmed Kenyans, by telling them that Okoth is fine.
ODM’s director of Communication’s Phillip Etale was among the first people to talk to the politician after the bad rumors.
Etale warned Kenyans to avoid fake alarming news, especially the one that touches on people’s lives.
Okoth has been on Kenyans minds, since early this year when he revealed that he was suffering from stage 4 colerectal cancer.
“I was diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer with metastases to the liver,” he told a local daily.
Last month, he shared a picture of himself undergoing Chemotherapy.
