The Everton-Arsenal derby happens to be one of the matches to
Arsenal missed the chance to leap above rivals Tottenham and go third in the table as they went down 1-0 to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Phil Jagielka who was only called into the starting lineup by Marco Silva at the 11th hour after Michael Keane fell ill scored the only goal of the game after just 10 minutes following Arsenal’s inability to clear a Lucas Digne throw.
The defeat sees the Gunners stay in fourth place, with all four top four contenders now having played 32 matches.
The Gunners are a point behind Tottenham, who weren’t in action this weekend, and level on points with Chelsea, who face West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
