The body of Susan Njambi who until her death was attached to the institution, was found lying lifeless on a pavement by her colleagues at around 6 am.
According to police OB report, Njambi had lit a mosquito coil inside a locked motor vehicle on that fateful night.
She later alighted from the said van and sat on a pavement where she was discovered dead.
Officers from the crimes unit visited the scene and took her body Bungoma County Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.
Police collected mosquito coils, a bottle of water and tomato ring crisps from the car as investigation continues.
