Ugenya parliamentary candidate on the Grand Dream Development Party (GDDP) has warned his constituents not to elect “fake leaders”. Daniel Juma Omondi said his opponents are busy bribing voters.
He asked the IEBC stop bribery of voters saying his opponents are engaged in electoral malpractices. He was speaking in Ukwala town in while launching a one million shilling initiative that aims at empowering the youth and women with sewing skills.

Omondi said he had lodged a complaint with the IEBC over the bribery issue. Ugenya Voters will be going to the ballot on Friday, April 5.
The contest has attracted four candidates, Christopher Odhiambo Karan (ODM), David Ouma Ochieng (Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG), Brian Omondi (Third Way Alliance) and Daniel Juma Omondi (GDDP).
