At the middle of the week, six unknown bodies were found in National Park
A post-mortem examination of the bodies found dumped at Tsavo West National park is ongoing at the Nairobi City Mortuary.
About eight families arrived at the mortuary on Friday to present their DNA that will help in identification of the decomposed bodies.
Families say their loved ones disappeared under unclear circumstances and were found dead days later inside the park.
A report filed at Kibwezi Police Station said the bodies were found by two Kenya Wildlife Service rangers who were on patrol.
Police officers from Mtito Andei Police Station as well as detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) suspect that the six were likely murdered elsewhere before being dumped at the park.
Families are yet to know their fate on the ongoing examinations.
