Ahead of his first performance at the Cape Town Stadium, Ed spent some quiet time reading a book at the foot of Table Mountain.
Sharing pics of his serene moment – taken by his personal bodyguard Kevin Myers – on Instagram on Tuesday, Ed wrote: ” I went to read my book up table mountain today and @securitykev took some pictures of me without me knowing, so here they are.”
This sparked reactions since it followed his epic perfomance in Capetown that saw the star fill a whole stadium.
So @teddysphotos was spotted reading in Cape Town 😍❤️ Please someone tell #EdSheeranSA that Cape Town’s #BeingLily LOVES him so much!! And I’ll be at the concert tonight so if he wants a copy I’m like available you know !! 😘 #ReadSA #getLilytoEd #edsheeran #retweetlikehellpls pic.twitter.com/OiRcSenihA
