The vocal lawyer’s sentiment came as soon as Statehouse deactivated President’s twitter and face book account

The suspension was confirmed by Statehouse Chief of staff Nzioka Waita
who stated the move was made to allow for the necessary remedial measures.

This came after a tweet on the President’s Official Twitter handle got Kenyans talking after he vowed to fight all corrupt individuals regardless of their relationship with him or tribe which got Kenyans thinking he was referring to the second in command DP William Ruto.

DP Ruto has in the recent past received backlash over the ongoing war on graft with his allies claiming that the war on corruption has been target to DP Ruto to bar him from running for presidential seat come 2022 general election.

The DP’s name has been dragged in corruption deals including the recent one that has seen Ksh 21 billion missing that was meant for Arror and Kimwarer dam construction in Elgeyo Marakwet.

However he has come out dismissing claims that the money is lost terming it as a fat lie.

According to the DP the money in question is Ksh7 billion and the government can account for it.
