When KOT became the pillar of advocacy through #MyAlwaysExperience

Outrage over 'mediocre' Always pads in Kenya causing rashes, burns

While Kenyans on Twitter did what they do best (demand accountability) through exposing the defectiveness of Always pads on #MyAlwaysExperience, they managed to pull a whole other level of influence around the world.

Always being a multinational brand has a reputation to maintain, but not for KOT. Especially when the product is substandard.

KOT this time took the long shot, not only because of the Always multinational brand, but also because the menstruation topic has been a taboo topic for most of African countries.

Women on Twitter tore apart Always, narrating of their bad experience with Always, a Procter and Gamble Company product.

But far from it, the guts to do so took aback some international observers.

Poor response from the company in question only made it worse for them, as more women in the world vowed to change the product.

And it was not just a thing for the women as men too joined the conversation.
