The Association interim chairman Pastor Dennis Etyang said proposals to start taxing their tithe were untenable, noting that pastors work on a voluntary basis all week round.
However, pastors in the cities minting millions on church services are yet to share their sentiments on taxing tithes.
The rise in churches and self proclaimed prophets is alarming as compared to Rwanda where thousands of churches were shut down by the government for having poor infrastructure and unqualified pastors.
