Willian was just on the back of a great performance against Fulham at the weekend and he stepped up once again for the South West London side. 65 minutes were on the clock and Chelsea were awarded a free kick.
The Brazilian stepped up for it, it was written in the stars and was meant to be. Although the free kick was quite far out and looked like a very difficult point to score from the 30-year-old managed it.
It was a breath taker of a free kick and will not be forgotten by Chelsea fans in a hurry.
Willian on his carbon-copy free-kick goal against Kiev tonight:
“I am happy with the goal but more with the result.
“We played well but we need to be more clinical, in the first half could have been three-nil up but we are there and did the job and have to go to Kiev to finish the job.
“I like to play against Dynamo since I was at Shakhtar Donetsk. It was a nice goal and the same as when I scored against Kiev two or three years ago.”
Willian on the second leg in Kiev:
“The game is not finished. It will be difficult and we want to go there and win the game there as well.”
