Willy Paul has recently released the video of Mmmh, a collabo he did with eccentric Tanzanian Bongo artist Rayvanny.
And despite the song’s warm reception from fans in Tanzania, Kenyans took to Twitter to disgrace and villify their own.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Kenyan musicians will rarely match the fame and fortune of their Tanzanian contemporaries.
Here are some of the tweets that were just utterly uncalled for:

I’d rather listen to a Generator instead of Willy Paul

I went to YouTube to watch this #Mmmh song by Willy Paul and Rayvanny, just because of Rayvanny. Boy, he has great talent. But when Willy Paul started singing I found myself watching Taka Taka and tutorials on how to talk to a snake.
