The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has thanked Kenyans on Twitter (#KOT) for helping in reporting a suspected criminal who posed as a garbage collector.
A twitter handle that goes by the name Kenyan Traffic brought to DCI’s attention the possession of a gun by a garbage collector.
The handle posted a photo of the garbage collector, tagging the DCI, questioning whether it was an undercover police officer.
The DCI later in a tweet responded to the concerns, via its Twitter handle saying that the man has been arrested while thanking #KOT for supporting their operations.
“We thank #KOT for bringing this matter to our attention & for additional information that we received through DMS. Let’s work together to keep our country safe.”
