Immediately after a ruling was delivered by a Kisumu court indicting five police commanders who took part in the operation following 2017 election violence, in which Baby Samantha Pendo was killed, Kenyans have rushed to twitter to applaud the ruling.
The discussion of ‘served justice’ is trending on the platform as Kenyans who sympathised with Baby Pendo’s family opine that crime should be punished.
Below are some of the tweets heaping praises on the ruling.
Baby Pendo is finally getting justice. For a policeman to clobber an infant at the care of her mother, was the most in human and heartless actions the police undertook in Kenya. Shame on the commander (s)!!!

Justice will and must come for Baby Pendo. It may be a long and tedious process but we will get there https://t.co/Pb9G8YQZ0i

Court finds CI John Siringi, IP Linah Kogey, SS Benjamin Koima, Titus Yoma and others liable for death of Baby Pendo, directs @ODPP_KE to prosecute them under Command Responsibility (but will the state lackey act?) |

We expect DCI George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji to proceed with haste and charge EX Kisumu CCPC Titus Yoma, GSU Commander John Masha and all policemen responsible for the murder of Baby Pendo. They should join their rogue colleague, Nahashon Mutua in jail; for life, for murder.
