Real Madrid could be about to reassert themselves as one of the dominant forces in European football as they look to make waves in the transfer market and bring one of the hottest talents in world football to the Santiago Bernabeu.
It would involve the biggest swap deal we have seen since Samuel Eto’o and Zlatan Ibrahimovic traded places from Barcelona and Inter Milan respectively. Tuttosport are reporting that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is keen on bringing Argentinian forward Paulo Dybala to the club and even though Juventus are being stubborn over his departure, Real do have an ace up their sleeve.
The Old Lady have kept their eye on Spanish talent Isco who is out of favour at Real Madrid the front page of Tuttosport (see below) fanned the flames for this move saying: “You want Isco? Give us Dybala.”
Real Madrid have been struggling for goals since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in summer but new boss Santiago Solari seems reluctant to include Isco in his starting XI. He was an unused substitute as Madrid beat Real Betis away from home whilst his last start came in the Champions League v CSKA Moscow before Christmas.
This would be a move that would shake up the top clubs in European football and get two of the hottest young talents playing regularly once again. It is more likely to happen in summer than January but one thing is for sure, Isco has too much talent to be wasted on the bench.
