Where former Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale come from, a bull is many things but at the center is the fact that it is a symbol of good luck and power. So one can easily ask, was Khalwale handing Deputy President William Ruto powers?
According to Boni Khalwale, no presidential aspirant has ever addressed a bigger rally in Malinya, Kakamega County in his political journey spanning over 20 years like DP Ruto did yesterday.

Khalwale, for avoidance of doubt, declared that it was now his time, and his people have already spoken. He vows to walk with Ruto in all ways to ensure that he becomes the next president of the republic of Kenya come 2022.
Through an annual bull fighting event that was organised and held at Malinya stadium, which was attended by DP Ruto, Khalwale cited that he had come to the same place before with Musikori Kombo, handed him powers but Kombo was unable to act.
He further note that he brought ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi to the same event, handed him powers but again Mudavadi failed on the mandate given to him.
The former Kakamega legislator argues that it was now time for him to hold the arrow by himself and hand powers to DP Ruto, whom he vowed to work with till the end of his political journey.
