The Nairobi Version of Wasafi Festival was not just entertainment bliss but also marked a very historical moment for Tanzanian Star Diamond Platnumz and Jamaican- Morgan Heritage.
Last night, history was made at Uhuru Garderns by the duo as they performed their collabo songs for the very first time ever since they released the hits.
As of their hallelujah song which now stands at over 10 million views on You Tube, Kenyans fans loved every bit of it.
A performance worth the pay and worth ticking off the bucket lists for those who had for so long waited for this event.
The event was fun filled and all the WCB artists getting to perform in one grand concert was a big deal.
The artists signed under WCB kicked off the performance and Finally, the man Chibu Dangote came on stage at around 2.45am.
Diamond Platnumz owned the crowd and although people were tired at this time, he was cheered on.
Some were however not energetic enough to sing back but count the moment as pure ecstasy. Diamond is king, he’s a great dancer, great live voice and great crowd controller for the lack of a better word.
The Tanzanian Star performed for over an hour including his collabos with his WCB team. He also, has a talented dj ( Romy Jons).
The major highlight in this show however is that for the first time in the world, he got to perform his hit with morgan heritage(hallelujah).
Morgan Heritage also gave their best as promised and reggae fans were left with memories of the realest feeling of reggae paradise.
Taking on to their twitter page Morgan Heritage have vowed to come back to Kenya and gave thanks to fans who came out to support them.
So thankful to our Kenya Fans who came out tonight and help us bring in the new year 2019 bless up our Wasafi Family @diamondplatnumz @harmonize_tz @WCBOFFICIAL_ Kenya we shall return very soon!!! Get ready for a 2 Hour Show of Music @CTBCMusicGroup we LOVE KENYA!!!❤️❤️❤️
