The government seems to have made good its threate of dealing with the mess at the Kenya Pipeline Company after detectives camped and arrested the Managing Director Joe Sang who has already quit his position on Friday 7th December early morning.
This comes as the board invited the DCI to investigate the disappearance of the fuel that KPC claimed either spilt or was stolen by vandals. Multiple sources have confirmed that the a arrests have been made and that the officials are expected in court any time in the course of the day.

Top officials in the company are said to have been arrested in the efforts to ensure that the truth is e=unearthed with the Director of Public Prosecution assuring just days ago that he would deal ruthlessly with anyone who maintains efforts to loot public funds.
The Kenya Pipeline managing director, Joe Sang, resigned on the 4th of December after reports of 21 million litres of fuel valued at more than KSh 2 billion emerged indicating that the fuel could not be accounted for.

Kenya Pipeline on its part claims that the fuel had spilled in the fields over the last two years and that some of it was lost through theft but an exchange has erupted with oil companies in s they are demanding an independent forensic audit on the oil stock statements and loss records. KPC holds fuel on behalf of the oil companies.
