Can you imagine all the torture that Nairobians went through on Monday was all for nothing. It was all because the governor, whom I can’t find the best words to describe was just in trial and error mode.
According to Mike Sonko, the whole Nairobi Matatu CBD was just a pilot project and was meant to test if the idea would work. Imagine bringing an entire city to a standstill with a pilot project? Only Sonko can do that.
After Monday’s pilot project of decongesting Nairobi’s CBD, I have suspended gazette notice 4479 of 12th May 2017 with immediate effect. We’ve noted with deep concern the plight of commuters if the ban was to be effected without the missing link of a commuter train & BRT system. pic.twitter.com/uJLzG5qtAN

Nairobians had to walk on foot for long distances to the CBD on Monday, after being dropped at bus stages outside the CBD. In fact, Sonko told a Senate Committee that most of us don’t go to the gym and walking was a way of exercising.
It could be the whole pilot project, was to test how we can all fair at the gym? The news has not been received well by Kenyans.
You just tortured Nairobians a full day for something i would have told you in under 5 minutes. No one in your circle of friends uses Matatu and would have adviced otherwise?

Does the county law allow you to suspend regulations…? So after swearing ban will stay you do a Kimunya on Nairobians? Leadership is about tough decisions not wishy washy decision making! Useless!!
