On Sunday, self proclaimed hustler William Ruto posted a picture of himself enjoying a cup of tea in a Kibandasky.
According to the Deputy President, they had taken refuge at Mama Susan Mkhasia’s kiosk in Sianda market after rains disrupted their public meeting in Kakamega. While at it, they enjoyed some nice tea and chapatis.

It has now been revealed that mama Susan pocketed a jackpot after serving the DP with other Western leaders among them Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka, Sports CS Rashid Echesa and former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale.
According to Khalwale, Ruto gave the woman sh 100,000 and told her to keep the change. The bill was worth sh 250, meaning mama Susan pocketed a hefty tip off.

Does this mean that the Kibandasky business is that lucrative? Should the jobless youth open more Vibandas? But how is that even possible when Nairobi governor Mike Sonko is destroying all the vibandas in Nairobi?
Anyway, the news have elicited different reactions online.
Politics of handouts…in stead of putting policies which are business friendly to low economies. You all lack vision for Kenya.

People in this country are suffering and its very shameful for you and your entourage to publicise this nonense,DP should be busy formulating policies that can uplift our poor Kenyans instead of pretending to care, what you post does not belong in this space,so disheartening.

No wonder Mulembe nation MPs are clutching at the coat tails of the DP. If a peasant biz lady is given 100k, what about a politician who has promised to deliver thousands of votes. Njaa itatumaliza

The only good thing about this is that the lady has received part of looted public funds. The culture of handouts is practiced by politicians who have nothing to tell the people. They buy support.
