Kenyans have reacted to the revelation that has emerged in regard to the business which the slain Monica Kimani was involved in. This has been a question that emerged as Kenyans had earlier demanded that that the DCI should probe into the matter to aid in unraveling the mystery behind her murder.

According to the an inside story by the nation, there are claims that ;Monica Kimani’s father Paul Ngarama has dismissed claims that his daughter was married to South Sudanese politician and former warlord Daniel Awet Akot, but admits that the politician is “very close” to the family. Close relatives and friends had claimed that Ms Kimani was married to Mr Akot, and that it is through this connection that the family’s fortunes have improved over the past three years.
Earlier on, it was rumored that Monica was working at the Kenyan Embassy in Juba. However, this was clarified and said to be untrue.
