Rarieda Member of Parliament, Otiende Amollo, has joined his colleagues in the Opposition in castigating William Ruto after the deputy president called the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga, a conman.
Amollo, a revered lawyer, defined the word conman as someone who makes profit through illegal means, and that person, he indicated, was not his party boss, Raila, as was alleged by Ruto.
He said this while speaking in one of the TV’s morning talk shows dubbed AM LIVE on Nation TV.
Being a conman in legal parlance is a word for a thief and someone who profiteers illegally, so if you asked Kenyans who they think is a conman between Raila Odinga and William Ruto, they will tell you – Otiende Amollo. #AMLiveNTV @debarlinea pic.twitter.com/cl2G1JVJOf

Ruto’s renewed verbal attacks targeted at Raila started after ODM party leaders once again announced their leader would be on the ballot come 2022.
Led by Siaya Senator James Orengo, the Orange party allied politicians said Raila’s candidature in 2022 was not negotiable because he had all the reasons to go for the top seat.
Ruto dismissed calls for a plebiscite by the Opposition leader leader and instead urged leaders to focus on development, arguing the building bridges initiative between Raila and Uhuru was meant to unite Kenyans and push for development and not political agendas.
