Waihiga Mwaura today shared photos of him receiving an award. This comes days after the Citizen Tv news anchor, was announced winner in this year’s BBC World News Komla Dumor Award. As part of the prize, he will spend three months at the BBC in London and travel back to the continent to report on a story there.
Waihiga Mwaura is the fourth winner of the award and the first male receipient. Kenyans have taken pride in this winning and have today showered him with congratulatory messages after he shared a photo of him receiving the award
