The silence by media personalities in regard to Joseph Irungu’s case has raised concerns to a number of Kenyans. Generally, media houses have also been criticized for bringing Maribe into the limelight even though the police have not clarified on what exactly happened. Although silence does not mean abandoned, a concerned Kenyan claimed that the people who congratulated Maribe several weeks ago have now abandoned her.
I remember media personalities congratulating Jacque Maribe on his engagement to Jowie Joseph Irungu a few weeks ago.
The same just abandoned her.

Social media Issa front.
The real scam— Neema Mutero (@bonkiex) September 27, 2018
Today in one of the papers, Maribe was on the front page and this has not settled well with some Kenyans.
Seen the Standard headline and I can’t just get why Jacque Maribe’s photo has been splashed on the front page. She is not the suspect. Why is this story being made to be about her? Maribe’s fiancé this and that as though the guy doesn’t have a name ???

Some even complained that the media is trying to destroy one of their own.
The media trying to destroy one of their own, soo sad ?

even as the debate continued, some spoke in defense of the publishers saying that Kenyans are too fast to judge from the headlines instead of reading the content.
The problem with Kenyans. They see headline and conclude the content. I haven’t seen anybody comment on the content of this story apart from @Asamoh_
