Kenya Film classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua has banned the popular DJ Afro’s content that airs on Gikuyu Tv. This follows his illegal editing, reproduction and supply of movies. On Wednesday, Ezekiel met with DJ Afro and his manager where he plead guilty to the offence. KFCB then ordered the suspension of all unrated material on Gikuyu TV with immediate effect.
The move led to a widespread online debate among Kenyans.
Some were not sure..
I'm on the fence on this DJ Afro issue. On one hand he's creating employment. On the other, I've heard 5-10yr olds say things they've heard from those shows and wow the vulgarity….

Fair point?
@EzekielMutua @KFCB #mediamattersKE
Banning DJ Afro's shows due to "strong language" used is a sick excuse.
Mr. Mutua, go back to the drawing board. Think. Think again. Think again and stop killing the dreams of young Kenyan entrepreneurs. pic.twitter.com/2RfHaZTMJO— John Thuo Mwaura (@johntmwaura) September 13, 2018
Ezekiel Mutua now bans DJ Afro's movies saying they are "too vulgar". In a country where the unemployment rate is at 39.1% and where youths struggle with their talents to make ends meet, Ezekiel Mutua should be stopped!

What’s yours?
K.F.C C.E.O Dr Ezekiel Mutua Has banned DJ Afro shows for his strong language he uses. My advice to Mutua he could not have banned the DJs shows he could have banned those strong words.
