Kenya forward Michael Olunga says everyone is geared up for the 2019 Afcon qualifier against Ghana on Saturday in Nairobi.
The Harambee Stars had a false start to their qualification journey as they lost their opening game to the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone 2-1 with Olunga scoring Kenya’s consolation in the 76th minute after Julius Wabay and Bangura hit the net for the hosts in either half.
The 24-year-old, who signed a three-year contract with Japanese League side, Kashiwa Reysol, has rallied Sebastien Migne charges to concrete on the assignment ahead when Stars hosts Ghana’s Black Stars in the Afcon Qualifier.

“It’s an honour to represent the country. We are aware that Ghana is a good team, but we are going to play at home and we have people to back us up because we are going to give it a push.
“Everyone is geared up. It’s unfortunate we lost the opening match, but now we have to focus on Ghana which is a vital game,” Olunga told Goal.
The Kenyan is not giving up on his side chances of booking a first Afcon ticket since 2004 when he was just ten years old.
