Opposition party leader Raila Odinga has made fresh allegations weeks after bipartisan talks with the Kenya Kwanza government failed to kick off. In his most recent statement, the Azimio leader claimed that Venezuelans whom he accused of manipulating Kenya elections results in favor of President Ruto are currently in the country with a mission to tamper IEBC servers.
His remarks come after his frustrated efforts of calling for servers to be opened in order to prove that the current head of state won legitimately.
Raila who was speaking at Kamukunji grounds on Sunday, April 16, further stated that their team had received intel that the foreigners met (CA) Chairman Ezra Chiloba and former Independent (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati and changed their initial location after learning that their presence in the country had been found out.
In other news Inspector General, Japheth Koome has responded to Azimio’s letter to the International Criminal Court (ICC) saying that he will not be intimidated. His response comes a day after Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua defended Koome assuring him that the government will protect him from the threats made by the opposition leaders.
