President William Ruto and Opposition party leader Raila Odinga have finally bowed to pressure following numerous calls that urged them to be open for dialogue after their fallout since the outcome of the 2022 general elections.
The duo separately made statements on Sunday with the head of state pleading with Raila to call off demonstrations and shift his focus to having a meaningful conversation about how to move the country forward.
