Folk Fusion, the coolest contemporary folk event in the world, is geared up for its first edition on 25th March at its newfound home – Havillah Cornerstone Ranch along the Northern Bypass, Ruaka.
The upcoming edition will once again see our African heritage and culture come to life expressed through music, fashion, food, drinks, and art.
Themed Rain Dance Edition, the edition will also serve as an invitation for folks to collectively gather and summon rain the African way, through expressive and uninhibited dance.
Folk fans should anticipate top-class live performances by their faves, Ayrosh, Bensoul, Charisma, Coster Ojwang’, and Njerae, as well as an introduction to Samburu-based rising star Laiso King. DJs, Ally Fresh and Mura, will jointly hold it down on the decks in between the performances.

“We’ve held 5 editions since 2018 and are now keen to grow the event to new heights. This growth journey started last year’s August edition which was headlined by Sauti Sol’s Savara. Folks should look out for more exciting surprises this year,” Folk Fusion event manager, Simon Maina says.
Folk Fusion released its 2023 schedule which promises 3 other editions in June, September, and December, with an annual pass ticket on sale here.
