It is on a warm Thursday morning and politics surrounding the sudden police raid on former CS Fred Matiang’is home continues to flare.
This was after Matiang’i became a man under siege on Thursday night amid reports police were planning to raid his home in Karen, Nairobi.
However, the reasons for his imminent arrest were not immediately clear, with EACC coming out clear to deny reports that it was behind the attempted arrest.
Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga also arrived at Matiang’i’s home and expressed his shock as he stood his ground insisting that Matiang’i had not done anything bad and should not be arrested.
The officers did not access the former Cabinet minister’s house.
