The Kenyatta family has recently been on the spotlight with the main focus on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his late father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.

Another Kenyatta kin threw herself into the thick of things as the race to succeed Uhuru heats up.

Mama Ngina Kenyatta came out to defend her son after the latest attacks from the Hustler nation camp.

She noted that the upbringing of those leaders hurling insults should be questioned.

The soft spoken widow further remarked that the president knows what he is doing and would not mislead the people from Mt Kenya.

In addition, Mama Ngina also proclaimed that the people of the region should back ODM Raila Odinga for the top seat come August.

This brings up the big question, Should Mama Ngina have involved herself in the current political turmoil?
