Narc-Kenya leader Martha Karua ‘s absence at the Jubilee and ODM NDC on Saturday raised eyebrows on whether the iron lady was headed for defection from One Kenya Alliance (OKA).
Karua, who is yet to make a statement approving or denying the motion to join Azimio, also elicited speculations on Friday after she was conspicuously missing during a press conference in which Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka announced their decision to partner with ODM chief Raila Odinga.
However, the former Gichugu MP was quick to dismiss rumors that she has quit OKA saying the quote attributed to her on social media was not authentic.
Despite her clarification, questions still linger on her stand regarding the move by OKA to start talks with Azimio with her silence on the move depicting a possibility that she is yet to make her stand to fully join the movement.
Meanwhile, her Chama Cha Kazi counterpart and Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, on Sunday, expressed willingness to work with OKA but only under one condition, they don’t join Azimio La Umoja.
Kuria’s tough stance probably played a big role in OKA’s decision to push the official unveiling of its Coalition and signing of the coalition agreement which was slated for today.
Do you think Karua will defect from OKA and possibly join Kenya Kwanza Alliance? Moreover, will OKA eventually convince Moses Kuria to join them despite their coalition with Azimio?
