Blow to Raila After Nairobi ODM Officials Decamp to UDA; Uhuru and Raila Gang Up Against High Court as DP Ruto Fires Back & County Leaders Scamper For Safety as Angry Voters Give Them Thorough Beating

Good morning,

Isn’t it disturbing how the issue of religion has become just another casual topic nowadays?

If our ancestors who trembled at the word ‘God’ and spent most of their time climbing mountains, to offer sacrifices to appease their deity came back to life, they would cringe.

Perhaps this is one of the effects of modernization, although we are not too sure that it is a good effect.

Here at home, the gospel music industry is no longer about spreading the word of God, but launching careers before artists go rogue and show us their true colors.

We also have people living openly as non-believers, and who have actually formed a sort of atheists support group!

In the West, people like Kanye West have openly declared themselves as gods, and for most people, life there is all about fame, riches, and other forms of vanity.

Perhaps the most outrageous thing to happen so far is the production of the Netflix series ‘Lucifer’ that tries to showcase the life of celestial beings, with the show portraying satan as a wrongly-judged person who falls in love with a human and ultimately takes over from God, who is, apparently, a black man.

We only have three words to sum all this up: What the Hell?

Here are the stories making headlines on Opera News today:
