Uhuru Faces Revolt as Ruto, Raila Enjoy Victory; Why Amos Kimunya Won’t Resign Over Rurii By-election Loss & Dennis Itumbi Asked to Find Partner and Get Married “Awache Kupayuka”

Good Morning.

The Hustler nation seems to be growing with each passing day and with the latest results from the by-elections, DP Ruto and his men seem destined to have the last laugh.

Moses Kuria proved that he is still a force to reckon with after the candidate affiliated to his little-known People’s Empowerment Party (PEP) emerged victorious in the Juja by-election. PEP’s George Koimburi beat Jubilee’s Susan Njeri after he garnered 12 ,159 votes against her 5,746 votes to clinch the seat. Should this worry the President?

Away from the by-elections, Martha Koome is officially the first female chief justice in the history of Kenya. This is after President Uhuru Kenyatta gazetted her appointment as Chief Justice.

From the judiciary we head to the legislature where members of parliament are worried following the continued absence of speaker Justin Muturi.

Muturi has missed recent Parliamentary sittings and his failure to attend Wednesday’s special session fueled more questions about his whereabouts. Just where is Justin Muturi?
