CS Magoha to Announce KCPE Results Today; Uhuru Stops Fuel Price Rise & Kang’ata Endorses Raila-Ruto 2022 Alliance Issuing Tough Conditions

Good morning fellow Kenyans,

We are in the season of political alliances and realignments with new hopefuls also entering the crowded race that has Deputy President William Ruto and ODM supremo Raila Odinga as the frontrunners.

The latest talking point is an alleged planned mass walk-out of ODM led by Kakamega governor and the party’s deputy leader Wycliffe Oparanya who has reportedly met the DP a couple of times over the last few days.

Oparanya’s first meeting with the second in command momentarily arouse speculations of a possible coalition between Ruto and Raila after Oparanya allegedly trooped to the former premier’s home to brief him about the talks.

His recent talks with the DP now point to a looming political dalliance between the two as pundits claim the Kakamega county boss is aligning himself for a Deputy PM’s position in a purported alliance between Ruto and Raila.

Allies of the two leaders have however rubbished any such coalition, saying Ruto and Raila were ideologically incompatible.

Do you think there is a possibility of Ruto working with Raila or is the DP’s interest only in snatching Oparanya from ODM?
