DP Ruto to Be Evicted From Karen Mansion; Copyright Board Cautions Against ‘Firirinda’ Craze & “You’ll Be Kicked Out On Monday,” Murathe Tells Ruto Ally

Good morning fellow Kenyans,

It is time Kenyans tone down on the unnecessary criticisms!

On Wednesday, a renowned actor Pascal Tokodi, who stars in the popular Maisha Magic telenovela christened Selina, bumped into President Uhuru Kenyatta along State House Road in Nairobi.

Like any other Kenyan, the actor was thrilled. Imagine unexpectedly meeting the Country’s Commander in Chief strolling in the streets, what could you have done?

Viral video footage the actor shared on his social media handles showed him interacting with the Head of State informing him to watch his programme on Maisha Magic.

What shocked me is how Kenyans thought the actor had lost a golden opportunity where he could have raised better issues than letting the President know of his telenovela.

A scan through many comments showed a section of Kenyans wanted him to ask for a favour and perhaps a ‘token’ that could have changed his life.

What Tokodi demonstrated is faith in his hustle and trust that his future can be better if he keeps pushing it further. He is a man of integrity who thinks not of handouts as a form of empowerment.

Millions of people who were not aware of Selina Telenovela now have the knowledge, thanks to his short video. The ratings for the program will never be the same.

Believing in handouts and rushing to ridicule fellow Kenyans on unnecessary things is the greatest undoing of the Kenyan youths. We must stop.

Let us empower each other and promote the basic hustles that put food on the table by being proud of them regardless of whoever we meet. Pascal Tokodi did it better, he deserves praise and not criticism.

That aside here are the top stories of the day:
