Tension Among Ruto Allies as Cabinet Reshuffle Looms; Ruto-Uhuru Didn’t Invite Me to State House Meeting & Raila Allegedly Purchases Four Helicopters Ahead of 2022

Good morning fellow Kenyans,

Is it time the Deputy President William Ruto quits government?

On Thursday, President Uhuru Kenyatta held a crucial Cabinet meeting where his deputy was conspicuously missing.

His absence, emerging report says, was due to lack of knowledge and invitation.

State House Kenya by the time of going to press had no comment to give, when contacted by a local media house, on the matter.

What is evident now is the reality the DP and his boss have refused to tell Kenyans; their joint stay in power is long overdue.

From calls to resign to reassigning crucial duties to junior officers, the President made an indirect statement to his deputy that he is no longer needed. And Ruto knows it.

While the constitution protects the office of the Deputy President, what is the need for him to remain in a government he is not needed?

This country has been treated to enough drama at the crucial arm of the government making Uhuruto continuous stay in power untenable.

As it appears, the DP is hell-bent on ensuring he ascends to the House on the Hill and the implementation of the Government agenda is not his thing anymore.

And with 2022 a few months ago, it is time for the DP to chose one; quit or shelve his political campaigns until a few months to 2022 General Elections.

That aside, here are our top stories today:
