It is common knowledge that Kenya is populated by a significant number of looters, rapists, and corrupt persons, but it has never occurred to us that actual psychopaths exist amongst us.
This is in relation to the Kiambu university student who killed his entire family by stabbing them and cutting their throats open, and apparently enjoyed every minute of it.
Families turn against one another, yes, but to kill not one, not two, but five people at a go, and in such a personal manner requires a certain level of mental disturbance.
The most absurd part of the case is that the guy said that he got his inspiration from a TV show.
Killing Eve is actually quite a very violent show, but come on!
If he went that crazy by watching the dark drama, wouldn’t he have gathered enough inspiration to kill all of us if he had watched crime scene investigation dramas, that depict all the possible ways one can kill?
Tv is not to blame here, the problem runs deeper. Perhaps a disturbed childhood or a cult of some sort.

Kiambu Murders: How Girlfriend Was Tricked Into Warunge’s Plan
The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) officers established that Lawrence Waruinge, 22, the prime suspect in the murder of five of his family members in Kiambu County tricked the girlfriend into aiding him to commit the crime.
Detectives from the Homicide and the Crime Scene Investigations Unit detailed that the university student had planned to wipe out his family using carbon monoxide before opting for using the knife.
Werunga tried to execute the gas strategy thrice but failed and then hatched a plan to use the girlfriend, Sarah Muthoni.

Deputy President William Ruto appears to have given up getting the support of his boss Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
Instead, Ruto is working on a strategy to vanquish both the President and his newfound soulmates by decisively beating Uhuru even in his own Mt Kenya backyard.
UhuRuto was powered into leadership largely through the majoritarian vote basket of the Kikuyu and the Kalenjin.
