We are finally in the last day of the month of October.

Ruto Rattles Bomas
Deputy President William Ruto stole the show during the launch of the BBI report at Bomas.
Ruto poked holes into the document while giving his speech, a move that did not go down well with the pro-BBI leaders who attended the function.
He was heckled and booed as he tried to put his points across.
In his defence, the second in command remarked that he was a slow learner and needed to know how certain things proposed by the BBI will work.
Uhuru Embarrasses Ruto in Public
President Uhuru Kenyatta took a jibe at his deputy during the second launch of the BBI document.
While addressing the masses, Uhuru jokingly mentioned that DP Ruto had abandoned him in their administrative journey.
The Head of State left other leaders in laughter after he compared the deputy president’s behaviour to a relay race.
According to Uhuru, Ruto was running in the opposite direction of the political race after receiving the button from him.
Magoha’s Stand on Closure of Schools
Education CS George Magoha finally issued his verdict on the schools’ closure debate after the recent spike in Covid-19 cases.
Magoha stated that schools would remain open and there were no plans of closing them anytime soon.
The tough-talking CS further noted that there was no reason for panic as the children were safe in school.
He further uttered that the rest of the classes would remain closed as they drafted plans with stakeholders on the full reopening of schools matter.
Safaricom’s Anniversary Treat
The telecommunication company celebrated its 20 years in the market in style.
Being the leading communication firm in the country, Safaricom gave a rare treat to its customers.
The company gave free calls of up to 20 minutes for the next 30 days.
Adding the cherry at the top, the users would also get a 20GB bundle valid for seven days.
Boy Develops Own Radio Station
A form three boy was the talk of the town after he developed his own radio station.
The 17-year-old identified as Steve Biko, created the station from locally acquired materials.
Biko explained that his station named Konzer FM is used to educate the community on the Covid-19 disease.
The impressive set up covers a radius of 26 kilometers and has a variety of shows where the form three boy is the host.
Mugo Wa Wairimu Jailed
Quack doctor Mugo wa Wairimu was sentenced to three years in jail.
The ruling indicated that the prosecution team proved its case against the man.
Mugo was found guilty of illegally operating a Chemist business without going through the correct procedures.
He was further found to have unlawfully ran a medical laboratory without having a licence.
Ruto Attacked in Murang’a
Deputy President William Ruto found himself in a situation during his tour in Murang’a.
Ruto, while at a function, was confronted by a man who seemed at first as if wanted to greet him.
Things turned messy in a few minutes when the assailant allegedly tried to slap the former URP leader who was shielded by his bodyguards.
According to reports, the unidentified man resorted to such an act claiming that Ruto had disrespected Uhuru.
