18 Senior Govt Officials Test Positive for Covid-19; 25 Senators Plot to Defeat Uhuru, Raila Proposals & City Pastor’s Warning to Khaligraph Jones, Bahati for Wearing Bishop Gowns

Goodmorning Kenyans.

It is the fourth day of the new month and the drama in the political world seems to have picked up from where it left off in July.

The County Revenue Allocations Formula has been the talk of the town with new allies and enemies being made.

The revenue sharing formula stalemate had a huge effect on the Jubilee party than with their ODM counterparts.

Tharaka Nithi Senator Kithure Kindiki threw himself into the mix and gave an ultimatum on the ongoing saga.

The ex-Deputy Speaker of the Senate promised that Murang’a Senator Irungu Kanga’ta’s motion will not see the light of day.

He further expressed that the stalemate would only end if a certain amount of money is added to ensure that all regions get an equal share.

The tough-talking Mt Kenya leader noted that Kang’ata should stop making threats and rather employ reason in the situation.

This brings up two big questions, is Kithure Kindiki’s proposal the way to go and should Kanga’ta stop playing the disciplinary card?

Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja is a man under siege.

Weeks after his dramatic arrest over flouting Covid-19 regulations, Sakaja has drawn the wrath of some Kenyans over his proposal on the revenue sharing formula.

A banner was erected in Nairobi stating how the youthful senator is a traitor.

The angered citizens behind the display noted that the Jubilee party member’s focus should be on Nairobi and not Mandera.

This leaves one wondering does the embattled Sakaja deserve the treatment he is receiving?
