People on social media are mean, and during this Corona period, the trolls are on steroids as Victoria Kimani came to learn.
The ‘Toto’ beauty recently insinuated that she has a new beau by posting a photo with Ghanaian comedian Michael Blackson.
“My rich neega, finally, I’ve fallen for you … @michaelblackson 🔐❤️” she posted before referring to him as her bae.
“Bae is in the next room and still wants to go live ❤️ that’s sweet … but I’m scared 🤦🏽♀️,” Miss Kimani captioned a video of Michael.
This news was met with mixed reactions. Some people felt that this was a publicity stunt while others congratulated the new couple. Victoria Kimani’s horde of admirers were not too pleased and some even compared her new beau to a burnt cockroach.
Reacting to the mean-spirited comments, Kimani wrote, “You can call him a burnt roach if you want … but remember that he is MY burnt roach … smh ppl are so mean online 🤯☹️😡.”
Michael, on the other hand, didn’t seem offended by the insults and decided to make a joke out of the whole matter.
“Which one of these beechneegas called me burnt roach?” Michael wrote.

Although Victoria is a very high profile celebrity, she has managed to keep her love life under wraps. The last time she went public with a relationship was with her then Nigerian boyfriend at a birthday dinner held in a South African boutique hotel.
We later came to learn that her beau was named Stanley and he directed her ‘My Money’ video. When she broke off her relationship with Stanley after less than 2 years of dating, Victoria swore off relationships with celebrities as they come with unending drama.
“It is a bad idea to date celebrities I have tried it one time in my life, it’s hard because you have to start thinking about who is watching or who is paying attention. Honestly, I thought it was a good idea at first because we have so much in common like if I’m in the studio late they will understand that you are in the studio late. Because there are some guys who hear you are in the studio at 2 am they think you are with some guy. There are certain cool things like having many things in common but honestly, I don’t want that (a celeb relationship). There are too many groupies. Yo! It’s real. These guys have all the girls in the world at their disposal,” she disclosed on the Let’s Talk show.
