The Magpies are finally set to change ownership with Mike Ashley close to agreeing a deal with potential buyer Amanda Staveley.Financier Staveley is leading a bid which involves Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund and the Reuben Brothers.

It is understood to be worth £300m. Should the deal go through, it would end the 13 year ownership of American billionaire Mike Ashley.

With Sergio Aguero on the wrong side of 32, Pep Guardiola is on the look out for a new striker to lead his attack. He has set his eyes on Inter Milan star man Lautaro Martinez. The 22 year old Argentine is also attracting interest from Barcelona.
