With just ten games left to play in the English Premier League, its is pretty easy to assemble a list of the best players in each position this season.

Here we compile the best team in the league this season.

Defense

It is very hard to look past the Liverpool back five this season. The team has conceded a mere 21 goals this season and while much of his is to do with the overall squad performance, individual brilliance at the back has been a key part too.

Allison Becker has been phenomenal in goal while the full backs; Alexander Arnold and Robertson, have revolutionized the left and right back position play.

In the middle, Virjil Van Djik and Gomes complete what is a complete Reds line up at the back.

Midfield

Again, a Liverpool player gets the nod. This time it is the skipper Jordan Henderson who has been the perfect platform through which Liverpool build their play. He covers the defense perfectly and makes runs forward as illustrated by his three goals and five assists this season.

Alongside him, Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne starts in double pivot. He has sixteen assists this season and could break the record which stands at 20 held by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

Ahead of the two, Bernardo Silva comes in the attacking midfield role.

Attack

Sadio Mane has been a sensation in the pat one and a half years. The Senegalese forward has  14 goals to his name this season and starts on the right wing.

On the left, Arsenal skipper Pierre Emerick Aubameyang brings his 17 goals so far this season while Jamie Vardy completes the line up in the striking role. The Leicester City talisman has nineteen goals which takes top of the goal scoring charts.
