(PHOTOS) Kambua Celebrates 8th Anniversary In Never Before Seen Wedding Picture

Renown Gospel musician Kambua and her husband Pastor Jackson Mathu are celebrating eight years of being married to each other today.

The celebrated couple got married on April 7, 2012, in a lavish but exclusive wedding that was attended by family and close friends.

Taking to Instagram early Tuesday morning, Kambua posted a never before wedding picture of the happy couple on their wedding day eight years ago. Standing tall beside each other, Kambua looks like she fell straight from a fairytale. They are seen holding hands and Kambua stealing a glimpse with her peary whies leading the way.

The couple which has stayed years without a child is also celebrating their first anniversary with their baby. This is a cause for celebration for Kambua who boldly highlighted that fact in her post status.

The Nishikilie singer had in the past shared how tough it was for the couple as they did not have a child for so many years. Online trolls would attack her constantly.

“People will have an opinion on everything, over children. Today I saw a comment and deleted it because this guy commented on my Instagram and he says ‘When are you going to get pregnant, you’re getting old. I remember thinking, the reason why it angers me is that people don’t even know what your journey is like. They don’t know what you’re struggling with. They don’t know if you even want to have children,” she once said during an interview.

The couple was blessed with their firstborn last year, putting to bed all the negative trolls.
