Arsenal has been dealt a huge blow with news emerging that on loan midfielder Dani Ceballos is not keen on making his stay at the Emirates Stadium permanent.
The man from Real Madrid is however keen on leaving his parent club in the Spanish capital for the good of his career. Ceballos joined Arsenal last summer and has been a key player under Mikel Arteta and former manager Unai Emery.
According to reports in the Spanish media, the midfielder would like to join Real Betis should he move away from the Santiago Bernabeu for good.
He spent six month at Real Betis before making his move to Real Madrid. Ceballos has struck a very nice partnership with Granit Xhaka in the Arsenal midfield and it would be a big blow for Mikel Arteta who plans to keep him for the long term.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is keeping tabs on Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir.
Fekir has seven goals and six assists in just 22 La Liga appearances since joining Betis for less than £18m last summer, having been in line to complete a £53m switch to Liverpool two years ago.
The France international, capable of playing out wide on either flank as well as a No 10, has emerged as a target again.
