Tangatanga Turn to the Bible to Fight Mockers of Fired Itumbi

Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen, on Wednesday put up a spirited fight on behalf of his Tangatanga counterpart Dennis Itumbi, who was on Wednesday fired from his prestigious State House position.

Taking up popular city Lawyer Donald Kipkorir, Murkomen walked in the spiritual steps of his political father, William Ruto, quoting the scriptures against Kipkorir’s scathing message to Itumbi, after he was penned.

”Dennis Itumbi, Kenya’s Digital Terrorist fired on his Birthday … Happy Birthday, Itumbi,” the lawyer had tweeted on Wednesday.

”You engendered Fake News in Kenya. Distorted the Truth. Your flying to the sun has ended! Being an errand boy made you think you are part of the System! Fare Thee Well,” he added.

Murkomen was quick to warn his learned friend against celebrating the downfall of his enemies, warning him that he might be the next in line to suffer misfortunes.

”Don’t rejoice when your enemies fall; don’t be happy when they stumble. For the LORD will be displeased with you and will turn his anger away from them,” the legislator tweeted back, quoting the book of Proverbs.

Itumbi becomes the latest ally Ruto to be fired from his state position, after former CS for Agriculture, Mwangi Kiunjuri.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Itumbi, in a message seen as a cryptic response to his job-loss, simply wrote ”Amen,” which translates to ”so be it.”

Before he was fired on his birthday, Itumbi had been serving as State House’s Senior Director, Communication (Digital, Innovation and Diaspora Communication).
