After a moment of silence, Itumbi had a rather cryptic response to his sacking on Thursday morning.
Only one word could tell it all, Amen.

This message came after he had changed his twitter biodata from a digital strategist to a pig farmer.

The self-proclaimed pig farmer was serving statehouse as the Senior Director, Communications (Digital, Innovation, Diaspora Communication) , an office which has since then been scraped off.

Itumbi was sent packing alongside other statehouse staff namely, James Kinyua (Events and Branding), Erick Ng’eno (Speechwriting and Research), David Nzioka and John Ndolo.

Their contracts had expired and they applied for an extension. However, their employer termed their positions as redundant hence the need to be scrapped off and send them home.

Itumbi, who has openly shown alliance to Deputy President William Ruto’s Tanga Tanga brigade received messages of consolation from his teammates.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen led the pact by sending a comforting message to him and other officials who were fired.

On the other hand, blogger cum lawyer Donald Kipkorir seemed to be jubilating in Itumbi’s predicaments.

Kipkorir bid Itumbi a farewell insinuating that he deserved to be fired on his birthday.
