Police officers in Nairobi are in hot pursuit of a matatu owner involved in the gruesome accident that claimed the life of an NTV journalist.
Raphael Nzioki was knocked down by a matatu while crossing Kenyatta Venue- Kimathi street intersection on Saturday, March 7 at 1:30 Am.
After reviewing CCTV footages in the CBD, police officers narrowed down on the specific matatu that caused the accident.
Details of the matatu owner have been mined from the National Transport & Safety Authority (NTSA) have since been mined.

The matatu is said to have sped off after killing the news editor, leaving his lifeless body lying on the road.
Family members would identify Nzioki’s body at City Mortuary after it was picked by police officers hours later.
Nzioki started working with NTV in 2018 after completing his studies at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC).
Friends from KIMC remembered Nzioki as a focused student who was immersed in his video projects throughout his stay at the institution.
